Javelina 100k
Javelina! We meet again. I raced this as my first 100k in 2022. I came in 3rd with a time of 10:07. In 2023 I went back hoping to improve upon this. Unfortunately I came down with Covid about 8 days before the start. One of the primary lingering symptoms were daily migraines. I decided to start the race anyway despite feeling pretty unsure of my body. I performed fairly well until the late afternoon migraine hit. I spent the third loop with extreme vertigo taking cactus naps every few miles. It was rough but we got it done! I feel I have to give this race one more go before I can close a chapter.

Silver Rush 50 miler
One of my 2024 goals is to run my first 100 miler. I did not get into the High Lonesome lottery or the Leadville lottery, so I chose to race my way into Leadville! Silver Rush 50 miler falls just 6 weeks prior to Leadville 100. The goal will be to run a smart, strong race without turning myself totally inside out so that we can continue our build into executing a strong first 100 miler.

Big Horn 32mi
Big Horn was started by local trail runners interested in preserving and protecting the Dry Fork and Little Bighorn River Canyons from a planned pump storage hydroelectric project and other development. It is now a beloved race through the Big Horn Mountains. Just a short drive from my house in Bozeman, this will make for a fun and quick race weekend. I will likely be camping with my family on either end of this one. It will be fun!

Canyons 100k
I am running Canyons 100k at the end of April. My goal is to earn a Golden Ticket in the next few years - I plan to continue putting myself into competitive environments where I am racing to be in contention for this.
